Well its been a little while since I have posted on here ... ThisĀ year started with a great idea to do a flexfuel conversion and then it didn't go that great. Due to some wiring issues and problems the car only recently has gotten running 100%. So to summarize now the bugeye makes … Continue reading Summer 2019 Update

S202 Wagon Conversion begins
The STi S202 was one of the first S20X cars that subaru ever made and probably the first one that did not make you want to gouge your eyes out like the S201. Making an S202 wagon sounds stupid because it is really stupid , but luckily I am an expert in stupid. The … Continue reading S202 Wagon Conversion begins
Waterford Hills Track day
Swapped out the Koyo radiator for a CSF radiator , Its far larger than the Koyo and had no issues with coolant temps for entire sessions and also brought oil temps down at least 20-30 degrees. Now the coolant temps barely rose over 210 and oil got no where near 250 like it did at … Continue reading Waterford Hills Track day
Gridlife Midwest 2018
Well I learned a lot from Gridlife midwest ... The car have oil temp issues the entire weekend due to what I think is a stuck thermostat and lacked spring rate to perform optimally on the track. Its what happens when you build a car that still needs to be somewhat comfortable on the … Continue reading Gridlife Midwest 2018
Maintaining and Modifying your Wrx / STi
Disclaimer This is just advice I have learned from friends , experience and reading after owning Subarus for the last 7 years. So if you are looking to run a set of Koni inserts , Tokico D Specs or KYB AGX with 2004 + Wrx rear tophats you are going to run into a little issue where the struts make a horrible tapping noise when the rear struts hit a bump. The reason for this is that … Continue reading How to run 2002-2003 Wrx Struts on any GD 5×100 wrx/STi with 2004+ Tophats
Fall update and future plans of world domination
So Gridlife round 5 didn't go so well as I got sick with what we are calling " superaids" leading me to drive home Saturday around 2pm and sleep for around 14 hours. As of today I am still not 100% back to feeling normal but I am getting there. Gridlife was fun for the … Continue reading Fall update and future plans of world domination
Change in Direction but not a change in purpose
So after making the wagon into more of a track car it seems the pendulum is going to swing back towards what the car originally was which was an excellent daily driver that I put 500 miles on a week at times. The 9k/8k springs are a little too rough for our horrible Michigan roads … Continue reading Change in Direction but not a change in purpose
